Now that Verizon is getting the iPhone 4, is doing all it can to attract former AT&T faithful, including offering a trade-in service to older devices.
Users can exchange an old (yet still functional) iPhone 3 G 8 GB for $ 36 or the newest iPhone 4, 16 GB for $ 212.
A better option
This looks a seductive deal by Verizon, but there is some intrigue, as it turns out that Verizon recycling partner, cycle-buyback service and mobile phone (apparently competitors) offers customers a better deal.
The very same ecological service will buy iPhone 3 G 8 GB for $ 90 and an iPhone identical 4, 16 GB for $ 280.
In most cases, assessments offered on the website and lifecycle are moderately to significantly higher than those offered by Verizon.
Companies have a "solution business alliance", and apart from the buyback offer/trade-ins online, both will be at Macworld Expo that offer these services.
The Verizon iPhone will be available on February 10th, barter or not.
